Thank you for your interest in our resort. Below are important details about Bellwether Beach Resort

  • What time is Check-In and Check-Out?

    Check-in:
    Check-in starts after 4 p.m. If you arrive earlier, we would gladly store your baggage until your room is ready. If the room is ready before 4 p.m., you may have access to the room earlier.

    Check-out:
    Check out time is at 11 a.m. We would be happy to store your luggage until you are ready to depart.

  • Do you offer early Check-In or late Check-Out?

    Early Check-In:

    If you would like we can place you on our early check-in waitlist, our early check-in fee is $75 plus tax between 7 am - 2 pm. This does not guarantee an early check-in, and you will ONLY be charged if we can accommodate check-in prior to 2 pm.

    Guests are welcome to the property at any time. If the room is not ready upon arrival, we can issue their paperwork, provide a parking pass and store their luggage.

    Guests are welcome to enjoy our amenities (i.e. grab a bite to eat at Bongos or go to the beach or pool) while the room is ready. We will call the guest as soon as the room is available.

    Late Check-Out Fee:
    Requests for a late check-out time are honored based on room availability at a fee of $35 an hour. Please check with the Front Desk for availability.

  • Do you require a reservation deposit?

    Yes, Our deposit policy requires all reservations to have an advanced deposit of one night room rental plus tax when a reservation is made.

    If you need to cancel your reservation, your cancellation must be received at least 72 hours prior to 4:00 p.m. of your arrival date in order to receive a full refund of your deposit.

  • What is the cost of the resort fee and what does it include?

    Our oceanfront haven is more than just a place to stay – it's an immersive experience that combines spacious and modern accommodations with a range of exceptional amenities designed to enhance your stay in every way possible. Step directly from our hotel onto the soft sands of the beach. Savor delectable cuisine while overlooking the breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico.     Bellwether Beach Resort charges a resort amenity fee of $45 per night plus tax*. This fee unlocks various resort, beach, and pool amenities that'll immerse you in a true Florida beach resort experience.

  • How can I cancel my reservation and what is the cancellation policy?

    For bookings made directly with us through our phone line or website, please contact the Front Office at 727-360-1811.
    If you made your reservation through a travel company, you must call the company direct in order to cancel the reservation. The hotel cannot change or cancel your reservation.

    To receive a refund of your deposit, your cancellation or any changes to your reservation must be received at least 72 hours prior to 4:00 p.m. of your arrival date.

    Early Departure Fee:
    If guests want to leave earlier than their scheduled check-out day, the hotel needs at least a 24-hour notice before the day they wish to depart. Failure to provide a 24-hour notice will result in paying in full for that evening, including taxes.

  • What forms of payment do you accept?

    The Bellwether Beach Resort accepts payment in US Dollars from all major credit cards:

    • Visa
    • MasterCard
    • American Express
    • Discover.
    • Cash. Guests are required to provide a credit/debit card at check-in. Guests may pay with cash upon check-out.

    Personal checks are not accepted. Proper photo ID is required for all transactions.

  • Do you offer breakfast on-site?

    Bongos Beach Bar and Grille offers breakfast Monday through Saturday from 8 am to 10:30 am; while St. Pete Social offers a variety of to-go breakfast options daily.

    On Sunday, enjoy a one-of-a-kind-experience with brunch in our revolving restaurant, Spinners Rooftop Grille. Brunch is offer from 9 am to 1 pm and reservations are recommended.

  • Do I need a reservation for any of the restaurants on-site?

    Spinners Rooftop Grille is the only establishment that accepts reservations. We strongly recommend making reservations ahead of time if you are planning to visit our revolving restaurant.

    MAKE RESERVATIONS

    Level 11 Rooftop & Lounge, Bongos Beach Bar & Grille, and St. Pete Social do not take reservations. First-come, first-served basis.

  • Do you offer room service?

    Yes, we offer daily in-room service from 1 pm to 9 pm. Please dial extension #2151 from your room phone for service.

    A $5 fee and 20% gratuity will automatically be added to the service

  • What are the pool and beach cabana hours?

    Beach Cabanas:
    Our beach cabana service is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Subject to change and weather permitting).
    Two beach loungers and umbrella, or one cabana are included in resort fee. No advanced reservations, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

    Pool:
    Our pool is open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Subject to change and weather permitting).

  • Do you provide daily housekeeping service?

    The hotel offers cleaning service every other day. If you have any special requests, please visit or call the Front Desk for assistance.

  • What is the smoking policy?

    Smoking is permitted in designated areas only. All guest rooms and balconies are non-smoking.
    A $250 smoking fee is assessed to anyone smoking in the rooms.

  • Do you offer parking on-premises?

    Yes, each room reservation includes one (1) complimentary parking space, which is covered by the Resort Fee. If you need parking for a second vehicle, it is available for $50.00 per day, subject to availability. Please note that no additional parking is offered on holidays.

    Valet parking is available Monday through Sunday from 9 AM to 12 AM. Self-parking is available exclusively to hotel guests. If a resort hotel guest chooses to valet, they will be charged $20 for their entire stay. For special event guests, there is a $10.00 parking fee. Non-resort guests dining at the property can park for $10.00 with validation from Spinner's, Level 11 Rooftop Bar & Lounge, or Bongo's Beach Bar. Beach parking is $50.00.

    *If a guest does not receive validation and/or does not meet the $50 minimum spend at one of our outlets, they will be subject to the full $50 parking fee. Parking fees apply every day of the week, contingent on availability, and prices are subject to change.

  • How can I buy a Gift Card?

    You can buy a Gift Card on the link below. Your gift will be sent to your recipient via email or SMS text notification with a link to their gift. We will notify you as soon as they open their gift. The gift card can be used at the hotel and/or any of our restaurants.

  • What is the minimum age to stay at your hotel?

    The minimum age to register at the resort is 21 years old and one registered adult must be present - throughout the entire stay.

  • Is the hotel pet friendly?

    Unfortunately, Bellwether Beach Resort is a pet-free facility. We accept service dogs and will require a signed pet agreement.

  • Can you drink on the beach?

    St. Pete Beach regulations allow alcoholic beverages only to guests registered at gulf-front hotels. To be allowed to have alcohol beverages on the beach you must follow the following rules:

    • Must be a registered resort guest.
    • Alcohol must be purchased through resort outlets to be consumed on the beach.
    • No personal coolers or outside alcohol permitted on the beach. Drinks are to be served by resort staff only.
    • Registered guests must wear wristbands at all times.
    • Must have photo ID confirming 21 years of age or older.
